Papels Bengali is exactly what it sounds like. Papel Khan's new Bengali restaurant at Gåsgränd in the Old Town has high ambitions, both in terms of food and that you as a guest should enjoy themselves.
Here Swedish raw materials meet the traditional Bengali food culture. Swedish game meat after season - pure, moose, deer and wild boar - and fish from Lake Mälaren are paired with flavors unique to the Bengali cuisine.
Papel is careful to have a consistent organic thought and the dishes must be mild or spicy, something he never thinks of is the quality.

In September, 2019 myself & my daughter went to Stockholm, Sweden. We experienced mostly on foot and was truly pristinely beautiful. As we visited the Old Town, Ganla Stand we came across many restraunts but one stood out, it was the waiter. He was willing to help us with directions and as we talked we decided to get a glass of wine at his brother, Papels restaurant. As we spelled the food we decided to eat. With our helpers influence we choose a reindeer dish. It was amazing. Could not remember name but just go their. Take their suggestions. The Chief Panel came out to ask how food was, so friendly. It is truly a charming place. I give a 5 star on Food, a 5 star on service and I definitely will go again to Papels should I be in Sweden again. Thank You Papels...
